How I Created the Baby Bug Story

When I first imagined Baby Bug, I didn’t plan a book series. I simply pictured a tiny, curious little bug exploring a world much bigger than herself. That small idea quickly grew into a warm, colorful universe — one that children could enjoy and parents could share during quiet reading moments.

The story began with a question: What stories live in the tiny corners of the world that only a little bug can see? From there, Maya, the Baby Bug, came to life. Her adventures are inspired by simple wonders and the joy of discovering something new. I wanted her world to feel safe, cozy, and full of imagination.

As I kept writing, I realized Baby Bug wasn’t just one story. She had more to say, more places to explore, and more lessons to share. That’s how the series was born — and today, Maya already has three adventures, with more on the way.

Creating Baby Bug has been one of my happiest writing experiences. It opened the door for me to write not only children’s books, but also adult stories in different genres. Storytelling is my way of connecting with readers of all ages, and Baby Bug is where that journey truly began.
